Texas High School Volleyball - Savio routed by Gateway College Preparatory
September 13, 2022: Georgetown, TX 78626 The Savio Eagles volleyball team (Austin, TX), was dropped 3-0 in Tuesday's non-league challenge with the host Gateway College Preparatory Gators (Georgetown, TX)
The Gators (10-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Robinson (Robinson, TX). The Rockets enter the non-league challenge with a 13-13 record. In their last challenge, Robinson was dropped by Glen Rose (Glen Rose, TX), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Eagles meet the Regents Knights (Austin, TX) in a TAPPS 5A District 3 challenge, on Thursday, September 15. Savio will attempt to move on its 6-9 season record. The Knights enter the challenge with a 8-5 record after their 3-1 non-league win over St. Andrew's (Austin, TX).
