September 13, 2023: Alexandria, VA 22309 In Wednesday's non-league match, the visiting South Lakes Seahawks football squad scored a good 16-0 victory over the Mount Vernon Majors.
In their next game, the Seahawks clash with the Herndon Hornets (Herndon, VA) in a non-league match, on Thursday, September 21. South Lakes will attempt to move on its 2-0 season record. The Hornets enter the match with a 3-0 record after their 47-22 non-league win over Wakefield School (The Plains, VA).
The Majors (0-1) will now prepare for their match against Lewis (Springfield, VA). The Lancers enter the non-league match with a 0-1 record. In their last match, Lewis was toppled by Washington-Liberty (Arlington, VA), 50-0, in a non-league match.
