The crowd at Wednesday's non-league bout between the Jennings County Panthers (North Vernon, IN) and the host East Central Trojans (St. Leon, IN), saw Jennings County's volleyball squad nip East Central by a tally of 2-1.

With the win, Jennings County upgrades its record to 2-0 on the year.

The Trojans now own a 7-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lawrence North for a non-league game on Saturday, September 16. East Central will meet a Wildcats team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Fishers (Fishers, IN). The Wildcats record now stands at 3-5.
