Georgia High School Softball - Lassiter bounces Milton
September 13, 2023: Marietta, GA 30066 The crowd at Wednesday's non-league match between the Lassiter Trojans (Marietta, GA) and the visiting Milton Eagles (Milton, GA), saw Lassiter's softball squad achieve victory over Milton by a count of 14-2.
The Trojans now sport a 15-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lambert for a non-league match on Saturday, September 16. Lassiter will face a Longhorns squad coming off a 5-2 league win over West Forsyth (Cumming, GA). The Longhorns record now stands at 12-2.
With the loss, Milton falls to 4-7 on the campaign. The Eagles host South Forsyth (Cumming, GA) to face the War Eagles in a 7A Region 6 match on Thursday, September 14. The War Eagles enter the match with a record of 10-7. South Forsyth lost 2-0 in their recent league match against Denmark (Alpharetta, GA)
