Massachusetts High School Volleyball - Doherty Memorial overwhelmed by Worcester Tech
September 13, 2023: Worcester, MA 01604 In Wednesday's non-league battle, the host Worcester Tech Eagles volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Doherty Memorial Highlanders.
The Eagles (2-0) will now prepare for their battle against Assabet Valley RVT (Marlborough, MA). The Aztecs come into the Colonial battle with a 4-0 record. In their last match, Assabet Valley RVT beat Blackstone Valley RVT (Upton, MA), 3-0, in a league match.
With the loss, Doherty Memorial drops to 0-2 on the campaign. The Highlanders host South (Worcester, MA) to battle the Colonels in a Inter High match on Friday, September 15. The Colonels come into the match with a record of 2-0. South won 3-0 in their recent league match against North (Worcester, MA)
