In Friday's league match, the visiting Big Rapids Cardinals football squad scored a good 33-14 victory over the Reed City Coyotes.

The Cardinals (2-1) will now prepare for their match against Chippewa Hills (Remus, MI). The Warriors enter the Central State - Gold match with a 0-3 record. In their last match, Chippewa Hills was beaten by Central Montcalm (Stanton, MI), 59-15, in a non-league match.

Coming up next, the Coyotes confront the Glen Lake Lakers (Maple City, MI) in a non-league match, on Friday, September 20. Reed City will attempt to upgrade on its 2-1 season record. The Lakers enter the match with a 3-0 record after their 46-0 league win over Harbor Springs (Harbor Springs, MI).
