Michigan High School Football - Merrill sneaks past Breckenridge
September 13, 2024: Merrill, MI 48637 The Merrill Vandals football squad scored 30 points and limited the visiting Breckenridge Huskies to 26 in the Vandals league triumph on Friday.
The Vandals now hold a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Carson City-Crystal for a Mid-State - Blue (8 Man) test on Friday, September 20. Merrill will meet a Eagles squad coming off a 38-30 non-league loss to Vestaburg (Vestaburg, MI). The Eagles record now stands at 1-2.
With the defeat, Breckenridge drops to 0-3 on the campaign. The Huskies host Coleman (Coleman, MI) to meet the Comets in a Mid-State - Blue (8 Man) test on Friday, September 20. The Comets come into the test with a record of 1-2. Coleman lost 49-6 in their recent non-league test against Alcona (Lincoln, MI)
