The East Union Urchins (Blue Springs, MS) football knocked off the visiting Bruce Trojans (Bruce, MS), 50-27 in Friday's non-league outing.

The Urchins now sport a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Alcorn Central for a non-league outing on Friday, September 20. East Union will clash with a Bears squad coming off a 42-0 non-league loss to Falkner (Falkner, MS). The Bears record now stands at 1-3.
