Linden Lions (Linden, CA) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the visiting Center Cougars (Antelope, CA), 42-7 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Linden improves its record to 3-1 on the season. The Lions travel to Big Valley Christian (Modesto, CA) to play the Lions in a Mother Lode League battle on Friday, September 27. The Lions go into the battle with a record of 2-1.

The Cougars now have a 0-3 record. They play next when they travel to Marysville for a Pioneer Valley League battle on Friday, September 20. Center will play a Indians team coming off a 50-37 non-league loss to East Nicolaus (Nicolaus, CA). The Indians record now stands at 0-3.
