The Mountain Vista Golden Eagles (Highlands Ranch, CO) football trounced the host Cherokee Trail Cougars (Aurora, CO), 42-0 in Friday's non-league outing.

The Golden Eagles now sport a 4-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Overland for a non-league outing on Thursday, September 26.

With the defeat, Cherokee Trail drops to 1-2 on the campaign. The Cougars host Rocky Mountain (Fort Collins, CO) to clash with the Lobos in a non-league outing on Friday, September 20. The Lobos come into the outing with a record of 2-1. Rocky Mountain lost 51-7 in their recent non-league outing against Broomfield (Broomfield, CO)
