The Darien Blue Wave football squad scored 45 points and limited the visiting Cheshire Rams to 6 in the Blue Wave non-league triumph on Friday.

The Blue Wave now sport a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to McMahon for a Fairfield County - East test on Friday, September 20. Darien will meet a Senators squad coming off a 48-27 non-league loss to New Britain (New Britain, CT). The Senators record now stands at 0-1.

With the defeat, Cheshire drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Rams host Fitch (Groton, CT) to meet the Falcons in a non-league test on Friday, September 20. The Falcons come into the test with a record of 0-1. Fitch lost 31-14 in their recent non-league test against Guilford (Guilford, CT)
