The Riverside Rangers got by the visiting Clint Lions football team by a score of 24-23 in Friday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Rangers play the Irvin Rockets (El Paso, TX) in a 4A-1 Region I District 1 challenge, on Friday, September 20. Riverside will attempt to improve on its 3-0 season record. The Rockets go into the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 24-21 non-league win over Bel Air (El Paso, TX).

The Lions (0-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Bowie (El Paso, TX). The Bears go into the 4A-1 Region I District 1 challenge with a 2-0 record. In their last challenge, Bowie nipped Fabens (Fabens, TX), 35-19, in a league challenge.
