Washington High School Football - Columbia thwarted by Columbia River
September 13, 2024: White Salmon, WA 98672 Columbia River Rapids (Vancouver, WA) followers went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the host Columbia Bruins (White Salmon, WA), 30-14 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Columbia River advances its record to 1-1 on the season. The Rapids travel to Mark Morris (Longview, WA) to play the Monarchs in a 2A Greater St. Helens battle on Friday, September 20. The Monarchs go into the battle with a record of 0-2. Mark Morris lost 46-6 in their recent non-league battle against Seton Catholic (Vancouver, WA)
The Bruins now own a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to La Center for a 1A Trico battle on Friday, September 20. Columbia will play a Wildcats team coming off a 28-0 non-league win over Woodland (Woodland, WA). The Wildcats record now stands at 2-0.
