Louisiana High School Football - East Ascension tops Salmen

September 13, 2024: Slidell, LA 70451

The East Ascension Spartans football squad scored 38 points and limited the host Salmen Spartans to 15 in the Spartans non-league triumph on Friday.

The Spartans now sport a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Sam Houston for a non-league test on Friday, September 20. East Ascension will meet a Broncos squad coming off a 48-21 non-league loss to Teurlings Catholic (Lafayette, LA). The Broncos record now stands at 1-1.

With the defeat, Salmen drops to 0-2 on the campaign. The Spartans host Bogalusa (Bogalusa, LA) to meet the Lumberjacks in a non-league test on Friday, September 20. The Lumberjacks come into the test with a record of 0-2. Bogalusa lost 27-6 in their recent non-league test against South Plaquemines (Buras, LA)
