In Friday's non-league game, the First Academy Eagles (Leesburg, FL) football team were victorious over the visiting Taylor Wildcats (Pierson, FL), by a score of 28-20.

In their next game, the Eagles face the St. Joseph Academy Flashes (St. Augustine, FL) in a non-league game, on Friday, September 20. First Academy will attempt to improve on its 2-2 season record. The Flashes enter the game with a 5-0 record after their 74-6 league win over Eagle's View (Jacksonville, FL).
