The Sussex County Tech got by the host Hackettstown Tigers football team by a score of 19-13 in Friday's league challenge.

In their next game, the play the Wallkill Valley Rangers (Hamburg, NJ) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 20. Sussex County Tech will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record. The Rangers go into the challenge with a 2-1 record after their 28-6 league win over Kinnelon (Kinnelon, NJ).

The Tigers (0-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Morris Hills (Rockaway, NJ). The Knights go into the non-league challenge with a 0-3 record. In their last challenge, Morris Hills was edged by Warren Hills Regional (Washington, NJ), 56-0, in a league challenge.
