September 13, 2024: Lemmon, SD 57638 Lemmon/McIntosh Cowboys (Lemmon, SD) followers went home pleased Friday as they saw their football team nip the visiting Herreid/Selby Wolverines (Herreid, SD), 30-24 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Lemmon/McIntosh advances its record to 3-1 on the season. The Cowboys travel to Harding County/Bison (Buffalo, SD) to play the in a Little Moreau (9 Man) battle on Friday, September 20. The go into the battle with a record of 3-1. Harding County/Bison won 50-43 in their recent league battle against Hill City (Hill City, SD)
The Wolverines now own a 2-2 record. They play next when they travel to Timber Lake for a non-league battle on Friday, September 20. Herreid/Selby will play a Panthers team coming off a 36-8 league win over Faith (Faith, SD). The Panthers record now stands at 2-2.
