Georgia High School Football - Holy Spirit Prep thwarted by Westminster Christian Academy
September 13, 2024: Atlanta, GA 30327 Westminster Christian Academy Lions (Watkinsville, GA) followers went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the host Holy Spirit Prep Cougars (Atlanta, GA), 58-31 in a league battle.
With the win, Westminster Christian Academy advances its record to 5-0 on the season. The Lions travel to St. Mary's Academy (Fairburn, GA) to play the Bobcats in a GIAA 8-Man Region 1 (8 Man) battle on Friday, September 20. The Bobcats go into the battle with a record of 0-3.
The Cougars now own a 1-2 record. They play next when they travel to Westminster Schools of Augusta for a GIAA 8-Man Region 1 (8 Man) battle on Friday, September 20. Holy Spirit Prep will play a Wildcats team coming off a 68-0 league win over Covenant Academy (Macon, GA). The Wildcats record now stands at 3-0.
