Virginia High School Football - Western Branch thwarted by King's Fork
September 13, 2024: Chesapeake, VA 23321 King's Fork Bulldogs (Suffolk, VA) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the host Western Branch Bruins (Chesapeake, VA), 33-7 in a league battle.
With the win, King's Fork improves its record to 2-0 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Great Bridge (Chesapeake, VA) to play the Wildcats in a Southeastern battle on Thursday, September 19. The Wildcats go into the battle with a record of 1-1. Great Bridge lost 62-0 in their recent league battle against Oscar Smith (Chesapeake, VA)
The Bruins now have a 1-2 record. They play next when they travel to Hickory for a Southeastern battle on Thursday, September 19. Western Branch will play a Hawks team coming off a 56-3 league loss to Indian River (Chesapeake, VA). The Hawks record now stands at 1-1.
