September 13, 2024: Kress, TX 79052 The Kress Kangaroos football squad scored 97 points and limited the visiting Southland Eagles to 51 in the Kangaroos non-league triumph on Friday.
The Kangaroos now sport a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they host Paducah for a non-league test on Friday, September 20. Kress will meet a Dragons squad coming off a 71-34 non-league loss to Springlake-Earth (Earth, TX). The Dragons record now stands at 1-1.
With the defeat, Southland drops to 2-1 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Lorenzo (Lorenzo, TX) to meet the Hornets in a non-league test on Friday, September 20. The Hornets come into the test with a record of 2-1. Lorenzo won 59-12 in their recent non-league test against Wilson (Wilson, TX)
