September 13, 2024: Cheektowaga, NY 14225 The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Maryvale Flyers (Cheektowaga, NY) and the visiting Lewiston-Porter Lancers (Youngstown, NY), witnessed Maryvale's football squad knock off Lewiston-Porter by a tally of 32-8.
The Flyers (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Albion (Albion, NY). The Purple Eagles enter the Section 6 B - 3 contest with a 0-2 record. In their last contest, Albion was toppled by Depew (Depew, NY), 49-6, in a league contest.
Coming up next, the Lancers battle the Olean Huskies (Olean, NY) in a Section 6 B - 3 contest, on Friday, September 20. Lewiston-Porter will attempt to better on its 0-2 season record. The Huskies enter the contest with a 1-1 record after their 26-0 league loss to Griffith Institute (Springville, NY).
