Nebraska High School Football - Papillion-LaVista tops Lincoln Southwest
September 13, 2024: Lincoln, NE 68512 The Papillion-LaVista Monarchs football squad scored 36 points and limited the host Lincoln Southwest Silver Hawks to 9 in the Monarchs non-league triumph on Friday.
The Monarchs now sport a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they host Bellevue East for a non-league test on Friday, September 20. Papillion-LaVista will meet a Chieftains squad coming off a 62-0 non-league loss to Bellevue West (Bellevue, NE). The Chieftains record now stands at 0-3.
With the defeat, Lincoln Southwest drops to 0-3 on the campaign. The Silver hawks travel to Lincoln East (Lincoln, NE) to meet the Spartans in a non-league test on Thursday, September 19. The Spartans come into the test with a record of 2-1. Lincoln East won 28-20 in their recent non-league test against Grand Island (Grand Island, NE)
