The Linganore Lancers (Frederick, MD) football trounced the host South Carroll Cavaliers (Sykesville, MD), 42-3 in Friday's non-league outing.

The Lancers now sport a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Walkersville for a Central Maryland outing on Friday, September 20. Linganore will clash with a Lions squad coming off a 70-0 non-league win over Poolesville (Poolesville, MD). The Lions record now stands at 2-0.
