The Rangers now sport a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they host Boerne-Champion for a 5A-1 Region IV District 13 outing on Friday, September 20. Smithson Valley will clash with a Chargers squad coming off a 25-10 non-league win over Alexander (Laredo, TX). The Chargers record now stands at 3-0.
With the defeat, Madison drops to 0-3 on the campaign. The Mavericks host Churchill (San Antonio, TX) to clash with the Chargers in a 6A Region IV District 27 outing on Friday, September 27. The Chargers come into the outing with a record of 2-1. Churchill won 22-6 in their recent non-league outing against Clemens (Schertz, TX)
