The Western Reserve Blue Devils got by the visiting McDonald Blue Devils football team by a score of 35-34 in Friday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Blue Devils face the Lowellville Rockets (Lowellville, OH) in a Mahoning Valley - Scarlet challenge, on Friday, September 20. Western Reserve will attempt to improve on its 4-0 season record. The Rockets go into the challenge with a 3-1 record after their 26-19 league win over Memorial (Campbell, OH).

The Blue Devils (2-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Jackson-Milton (North Jackson, OH). The Bluejays go into the Mahoning Valley - Scarlet challenge with a 2-2 record. In their last challenge, Jackson-Milton was edged by Mineral Ridge (Mineral Ridge, OH), 42-14, in a league challenge.
