The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Neshoba Central Rockets (Philadelphia, MS) and the visiting West Lauderdale Knights (Collinsville, MS), witnessed Neshoba Central's football squad topple West Lauderdale by a tally of 35-21.

The Rockets (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against West Point (West Point, MS). The Green Wave enter the non-league contest with a 1-2 record. In their last contest, West Point thwarted Noxubee County (Macon, MS), 20-18, in a non-league contest.

Coming up next, the Knights confront the Germantown Mavericks (Madison, MS) in a non-league contest, on Friday, September 20. West Lauderdale will attempt to better on its 1-2 season record. The Mavericks enter the contest with a 2-1 record after their 56-23 non-league loss to Warren Central (Vicksburg, MS).
