September 13, 2024: Martinsville, NJ 07920 The crowd at Friday's league contest between the The Pingry School Big Blue (Martinsville, NJ) and the visiting Newark Academy Minutemen (Livingston, NJ), witnessed The Pingry School's football squad edge Newark Academy by a tally of 1-0.
The Big Blue (2-2) will now prepare for their contest against Hackley (Tarrytown, NY). The Hornets enter the Metropolitan Independent contest with a 2-0 record. In their last contest, Hackley got by Hopkins (New Haven, CT), 38-0, in a league contest.

Newark Academy will attempt to better on its 0-3 season record. The Lions enter the contest with a 1-1 record after their 43-0 league loss to Riverdale Country (Bronx, NY).
