September 13, 2024: Norwalk, IA 50211 The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Newton Cardinals (Newton, IA) and the host Norwalk Warriors (Norwalk, IA), witnessed Newton's football squad knock off Norwalk by a tally of 29-21.
The Cardinals (2-1) will now prepare for their contest against Marshalltown (Marshalltown, IA). The Bobcats come into the non-league test with a 0-3 record. In their last test, Marshalltown was defeated by Davenport North (Davenport, IA), 28-14, in a non-league test.
With the defeat, Norwalk drops to 1-2 on the campaign. The Warriors host A-D-M (Adel, IA) to clash with the Tigers in a non-league test on Friday, September 20. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 2-2. A-D-M lost 30-27 in their recent non-league test against Lewis Central (Council Bluffs, IA)
