The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Northampton County Jaguars (Gaston, NC) and the host Northwest Halifax Vikings (Littleton, NC), witnessed Northampton County's football squad edge Northwest Halifax by a tally of 26-20.

The Jaguars (1-3) will now prepare for their contest against Weldon (Weldon, NC). The Chargers enter the Tar Roanoke 1A contest with a 2-1 record. In their last contest, Weldon got by Southeast Halifax (Halifax, NC), 18-6, in a league contest.
