The Philipsburg-Osceola Mountaineers felled the host Penns Valley Area Rams football team by a score of 34-21 in Friday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Mountaineers face the Bald Eagle Area Eagles (Wingate, PA) in a Laurel Highlands challenge, on Friday, September 20. Philipsburg-Osceola will attempt to improve on its 2-2 season record. The Eagles go into the challenge with a 2-2 record after their 35-28 league loss to Tyrone (Tyrone, PA).

The Rams (0-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Bellefonte (Bellefonte, PA). The Raiders go into the Laurel Highlands challenge with a 2-2 record. In their last challenge, Bellefonte lost by Clearfield (Clearfield, PA), 28-14, in a league challenge.
