In Friday's league match, the visiting Walled Lake Western Warriors football squad scored a decisive 49-7 triumph over the South Lyon Lions.

The Warriors (3-0) will now prepare for their match against Walled Lake Northern (Commerce, MI). The Knights come into the Lakes Valley match with a 0-3 record. In their last match, Walled Lake Northern was routed by South Lyon East (South Lyon, MI), 41-0, in a league match.
