Iowa High School Football - St. Albert thwarted by Underwood
September 13, 2024: Council Bluffs, IA 51503 Underwood Eagles (Underwood, IA) followers went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the host St. Albert Falcons (Council Bluffs, IA), 40-14 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Underwood advances its record to 1-2 on the season. The Eagles host AHSTW (Avoca, IA) to play the Vikings in a 1A District 8 battle on Friday, September 20. The Vikings go into the battle with a record of 2-1. AHSTW lost 41-33 in their recent non-league battle against Kuemper (Carroll, IA)
The Falcons now own a 1-2 record. They play next when they host Kingsley-Pierson for a A District 8 battle on Friday, September 20. St. Albert will play a Panthers team coming off a 35-14 league loss to Westwood (Sloan, IA). The Panthers record now stands at 2-1.
