Pennsylvania High School Football - Sun Valley loses to Wissahickon

September 13, 2024: Ambler, PA 19002

Wissahickon Trojans (Ambler, PA) followers went home pleased Friday as they saw their football team gain a win over the visiting Sun Valley Vanguards (Aston, PA), 42-14 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Wissahickon advances its record to 3-1 on the season. The Trojans host Interboro (Prospect Park, PA) to play the Buccaneers in a non-league battle on Friday, September 20. The Buccaneers go into the battle with a record of 0-4. Interboro lost 41-14 in their recent non-league battle against Upper Moreland (Willow Grove, PA)

The Vanguards now own a 1-3 record. They play next when they host Oxford for a Ches-Mont - American battle on Friday, September 20. Sun Valley will play a Hornets team coming off a 28-26 non-league win over Pottstown (Pottstown, PA). The Hornets record now stands at 2-2.
