Pennsylvania High School Soccer - Jersey Shore nudged by State College
September 13, 2024: Jersey Shore, PA 17740 State College Little Lions (State College, PA) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they witnessed their soccer team get by the host Jersey Shore Bulldogs (Jersey Shore, PA), 1-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, State College moves its record to 1-6 on the campaign. The Little Lions host Mechanicsburg (Mechanicsburg, PA) to meet the Wildcats in a Mid-Penn - Commonwealth test on Tuesday, September 17. The Wildcats come into the test with a record of 5-1. Mechanicsburg won 3-0 in their recent non-league test against Dallastown (Dallastown, PA)
The Bulldogs now sport a 0-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Williamsport for a Heartland I test on Monday, September 16. Jersey Shore will meet a Millionaires team coming off a 8-0 league loss to Central Columbia (Bloomsburg, PA). The Millionaires record now stands at 3-3.
