September 13, 2024: Bethesda, MD 20817 The Whitman Vikings (Bethesda, MD) football trounced the visiting Northwood Gladiators (Silver Spring, MD), 41-6 in Friday's non-league outing.
The Vikings now sport a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Walter Johnson for a non-league outing on Thursday, September 19. Whitman will clash with a Wildcats squad coming off a 37-14 non-league win over Richard Montgomery (Rockville, MD). The Wildcats record now stands at 2-0.
With the defeat, Northwood drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Gladiators travel to Wheaton (Silver Spring, MD) to clash with the Knights in a non-league outing on Friday, September 20. The Knights come into the outing with a record of 1-2. Wheaton lost 19-6 in their recent non-league outing against Clarksburg (Clarksburg, MD)
