New York High School Soccer - Mount Academy knocks off New Paltz
September 13, 2024: Esopus, NY 12429 The Mount Academy Eagles soccer squad scored 5 points and held the visiting New Paltz Huguenots to 1 in the Eagles non-league victory on Friday.
The Eagles now hold a 2-0 record. They play next when they host Kingston for a non-league bout on Thursday, September 19. Mount Academy will play a Tigers squad coming off a 5-5 non-league Our Lady of Lourdes (Poughkeepsie, NY). The Tigers record now stands at 1-2.
With the loss, New Paltz moves to 0-1 on the year. The Huguenots travel to Onteora (Boiceville, NY) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Monday, September 16. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 0-1. Onteora lost 7-0 in their recent non-league bout against Mount Academy (Esopus, NY)
