September 13, 2024: Deerfield, IL 60015 Deerfield Warriors (Deerfield, IL) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Taft Eagles (Chicago, IL), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Deerfield improves its record to 4-8 on the season. The Warriors travel to Hampshire (Hampshire, IL) to face the Whip-Purs in a non-league test on Friday, September 13. The Whip-Purs go into the test with a record of 9-2. Hampshire won 2-0 in their recent league test against Cary-Grove (Cary, IL)
The Eagles now own a 2-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Prospect for a non-league test on Friday, September 13. Taft will face a Knights squad coming off a 2-0 league loss to Hersey (Arlington Heights, IL). The Knights record now stands at 4-4.
