The Miller School of Albemarle Mavericks prevailed the visiting St. Margaret's Scotties volleyball squad by a final score of 3-1 in Friday's non-league game.

Next up, the Mavericks confront the New Covenant Gryphons (Lynchburg, VA) in a VISAA Blue Ridge game, on Tuesday, September 17. Miller School of Albemarle will attempt to advance on its 1-1 season record. The Gryphons enter the game with a 8-4 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Lynchburg HomeSchool (Lynchburg, VA).
