New York High School Football - East Meadow wallops Kennedy
September 13, 2025: Bellmore, NY 11710 The East Meadow Jets football squad scored 49 points and limited the host Kennedy Cougars to 13 in the Jets non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Jets now sport a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host New Hyde Park Memorial for a Section 8 Conference II test on Friday, September 19. East Meadow will clash with a Gladiators squad coming off a 48-7 league loss to Calhoun (Merrick, NY). The Gladiators record now stands at 0-1.
The Cougars (0-1) will now prepare for their game against Roslyn/Friends Academy (Roslyn Heights, NY). The enter the non-league game with a 0-1 record. In their last game, Roslyn/Friends Academy was trounced by Jericho (Jericho, NY), 30-8, in a league game.
