Vermont High School Football - Lyndon Institute sneaks past Fair Haven
September 13, 2025: Lyndon Center, VT 05850 The Lyndon Institute Vikings football squad scored 14 points and limited the visiting Fair Haven Slaters to 13 in the Vikings league triumph on Saturday.
The Vikings now hold a 2-0 record. They play next when they travel to U-32 for a Mountain challenge on Friday, September 19. Lyndon Institute will face a Raiders team coming off a 30-14 league loss to Bellows Falls (Bellows Falls, VT). The Raiders record now stands at 1-1.
The Slaters (0-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Mt. Mansfield (Jericho, VT). The Cougars enter the Mountain challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, Mt. Mansfield held off North Country Union (Newport, VT), 38-22, in a league challenge.
