Landon Bears (Bethesda, MD) fans went home in high spirits Saturday as they saw their football team tip the host Flint Hill Huskies (Oakton, VA), 13-6 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Landon moves its record to 3-0 on the campaign. The Bears travel to Maret (Washington, DC) to face the Frogs in a non-league game on Friday, September 19. The Frogs enter the game with a record of 1-0. Maret won 21-18 in their recent non-league game against Penn Wood (Lansdowne, PA)

The Huskies (0-3) will now prepare for their game against Episcopal (Alexandria, VA). The Maroon enter the non-league game with a 0-1 record. In their last game, Episcopal was edged by St. Christopher's (Richmond, VA), 30-19, in a non-league outing.
