Mountain View Spartans (Mountain View, CA) followers went home in high spirits Saturday as they saw their flag football team tip the host Branham Bruins (San Jose, CA), 6-0 in a non-league battle.

With the triumph, Mountain View upgrades its record to 5-4 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Wilcox (Santa Clara, CA) to confront the Chargers in a non-league match on Saturday, September 13. The Chargers come into the match with a record of 2-0. Wilcox won 63-0 in their recent non-league match against Lynbrook (San Jose, CA)

Coming up next, the Bruins confront the Willow Glen Rams (San Jose, CA) in a match, on Tuesday, September 16. Branham will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record. The Rams go into the battle with a 2-2 record after their 31-0 non-league win over Live Oak (Morgan Hill, CA).
