In Saturday's non-league game, the Serra Cavaliers (Gardena, CA) flag football team edged the visiting Jefferson Democrats (Los Angeles, CA), by a tally of 7-6.

In their next game, the Cavaliers face the Palos Verdes Sea Kings (Palos Verdes Estates, CA) in a non-league game, on Saturday, September 13. Serra will attempt to better on its 4-1 season record.
