Washington High School Soccer - Ferndale holds off Stanwood
September 13, 2025: Stanwood, WA 98292 Ferndale Golden Eagles (Ferndale, WA) boosters exited the stadium pleased Saturday as they witnessed their soccer team get by the host Stanwood Spartans (Stanwood, WA), 3-2 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Ferndale moves its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Golden Eagles host Mt. Baker (Deming, WA) to clash with the Mountaineers in a 1A/2A/3A Northwest test on Tuesday, September 16. The Mountaineers come into the test with a record of 0-2. Mt. Baker lost 8-0 in their recent league test against Sehome (Bellingham, WA)
The Spartans now sport a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Everett for a 2A/3A Wesco outing on Thursday, September 18. Stanwood will confront a Seagulls squad coming off a 6-1 non-league loss to Oak Harbor (Oak Harbor, WA). The Seagulls record now stands at 3-1.
