Kentucky High School Soccer - Oldham County nudged by Greenwood
September 13, 2025: Buckner, KY 40010 Greenwood Gators (Bowling Green, KY) fans went home in high spirits Saturday as they observed their soccer squad nudge the host Oldham County Colonels (Buckner, KY), 2-1 in a non-league outing.
The Gators (7-4) will now prepare for their outing against Bowling Green (Bowling Green, KY). The Purples go into the District 14 outing with a 6-6 record. In their last outing, Bowling Green got by Madisonville-North Hopkins (Madisonville, KY), 5-0, in a non-league outing.
Next up, the Colonels play the Shelby County Rockets (Shelbyville, KY) in a non-league outing, on Monday, September 15. Oldham County will attempt to advance on its 1-8 season record. The Rockets come into the test with a 6-7 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Walton-Verona (Walton, KY).
