September 13, 2025: Renton, WA 98059 Fans at Saturday's non-league battle between the Hazen Highlanders (Renton, WA) and the visiting Spanaway Lake Sentinels (Spanaway, WA), saw Hazen's soccer squad knock off Spanaway Lake by a count of 2-0.
The Highlanders (1-2) will now prepare for their battle against Liberty (Issaquah, WA). The Patriots come into the 3A KingCo match with a 1-0 record. In their last match, Liberty Mercer Island (Mercer Island, WA), 0-0, in a league match.
The Sentinels now sport a 0-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Curtis for a 4A South Puget Sound match on Tuesday, September 23. Spanaway Lake will meet a Vikings team coming off a 5-0 league win over Bethel (Spanaway, WA). The Vikings record now stands at 2-0.
