Pennsylvania High School Soccer - Hempfield held off by Unionville
September 13, 2025: Kennett Square, PA 19348 The Unionville Longhorns edged the visiting Hempfield Black Knights soccer team by a tally of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league game.
Next, the Longhorns face the Great Valley Patriots (Malvern, PA) in a Ches-Mont challenge, on Wednesday, September 24. Unionville will attempt to upgrade on its 3-3 season record. The Patriots enter the contest with a 4-5 record after their 6-0 non-league win over Upper Merion Area (King of Prussia, PA).
The Black Knights (2-2) will now prepare for their contest against Manheim Township (Lancaster, PA). The Blue Streaks enter the Lancaster-Lebanon 1 contest with a 5-2 record. In their last contest, Manheim Township was nipped by Central Dauphin (Harrisburg, PA), 3-2, in a non-league contest.
