The Mustangs now hold a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they host South for a non-league challenge on Saturday, September 20. Maple Heights will play a Rebels team coming off a 26-22 non-league win over Brush (Lyndhurst, OH). The Rebels record now stands at 2-0.
The Spartans (1-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy (Cuyahoga Falls, OH). The Royals go into the non-league challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy toppled Garfield (Akron, OH), 32-6, in a non-league test.
