September 13, 2025: Toledo, OH 43608 The Central Catholic Fighting Irish were winner over the visiting Brother Rice Warriors football squad by a margin of 20-6 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Fighting Irish now sport a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to De La Salle Collegiate for a non-league test on Thursday, September 18. Central Catholic will meet a Pilots squad coming off a 28-6 non-league win over St. Mary's Prep (Orchard Lake, MI). The Pilots record now stands at 1-1.
With the defeat, Brother Rice falls to 1-2 on the year. The Warriors host River Rouge (River Rouge, MI) to face the Panthers in a non-league challenge on Thursday, September 18. The Panthers enter the challenge with a record of 0-2. River Rouge lost 40-6 in their recent non-league challenge against Mona Shores (Norton Shores, MI)
