September 13, 2025: Covington, KY 41015 Fans at Saturday's non-league match between the Simon Kenton Pioneers (Independence, KY) and the host Scott Eagles (Covington, KY), saw Simon Kenton's soccer squad hold off Scott by a count of 1-0.
The Pioneers (6-1) will now prepare for their battle against Ryle (Union, KY). The Raiders enter the non-league battle with a 5-0 record. In their last battle, Ryle tipped Campbell County (Alexandria, KY), 8-0, in a non-league battle.
Next up, the Eagles battle the Gallatin County Wildcats (Warsaw, KY) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, September 16. Scott will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record.
